Here is an overview of a few tips you can use to keep your system running smoothly.
- Keep your system updated! By default, Windows will automatically download and install updates. Although this may slow down your internet connection while they download, it's good to actually install them – because these patches can help prevent your system from being compromised by viruses and spyware. There are usually updates for other software as well – and it's equally beneficial to update them as well.
- Keep your system clean! One way to keep your system clean is to go through all the programs you have installed on your computer and decide on what you don't use anymore – and remove them. Also, cleaning out the temporary files folder is essential to keeping your system clean and smooth. One further way to clean your system is to go through all the programs that start up with your system and remove them from the startup lists. Details on how to do this will be on the tips page.
- Remote Access – If you have a minor issue, we can schedule an appointment where a technician connects right into your computer and changes settings along with performing small repairs. If you would like this, feel free to use the contact page to leave a message. (Coming soon)
- Custom Build – If you are looking for a new computer, but aren't happy with what you see in the stores, then getting a custom computer built is what you need. This way, you can get the computer you were expecting to see, and you will know exactly what's in your computer while it's being built, rather than after you have bought it and are looking it over at home. - Installation / Upgrading – If you had just gotten a new system, and would like someone to set it up for you, then Computer Installation & Repair Services, LLC is ready to assist. Also, if you need help with your upgrade by installing a new peripheral card, such as a video, network, or sound card – that can be done as well.
